WARRANTY AND RETURNS

Sydney 4x4 Pty Ltd T/As Performance Tourers 4x4 Newcastle Warranty Terms

Note: “Sydney 4x4 Pty Ltd T/As Performance Tourers 4x4 Newcastle” will be labelled as “Performance Tourers 4x4 Newcastle”, “Performance Tourers 4x4“, “Performance Tourers”, “we”, “us” and/or “our” in this document.

Performance Tourers 4x4 Newcastle warrants parts supplied and workmanship for a period of 12 months/20,000km (whichever comes first) from the date of invoice, unless otherwise stated in writing. This warranty covers defects in both workmanship and parts supplied under normal vehicle use and operation. All warranty replacements or repairs require a visual inspection of the fault before any action is taken. Warranty does not cover freight, labour, or towing costs associated with your product or vehicle.

 

General Warranty Conditions

·        Any suspected warranty claim must be reported to Performance Tourers 4x4 Newcastle immediately

·        The vehicle must not continue to be driven if a fault is suspected, as further damage may void warranty coverage.

·        All warranty inspections and repairs must be authorised by Performance Tourers 4x4 Newcastle before any work is undertaken.

·        Repairs attempted or performed by the customer or another workshop without prior written approval from Performance Tourers 4x4 Newcastle may void this warranty.

·        The customer is responsible for delivering the vehicle to Performance Tourers 4x4 Newcastle for inspection and warranty assessment unless otherwise agreed.

 

General Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover failures caused by:

·        Abuse, neglect, racing, competition use, burnouts, or overloading.

·        Improper vehicle modifications or incorrect drivetrain configuration.

·        Lack of maintenance, contaminated fluids, overheating, or operation with low fluid levels.

·        Damage resulting from accidents, impact, or external causes.

·        Failures resulting from third-party tuning

·        Failures of components not supplied by Performance Tourers 4x4 Newcastle

·        Consequential losses, towing costs, vehicle hire, loss of income, or freight charges.

·        Any second hand parts are not covered under any warranty.

 

Turbo Warranty Exclusions

This warranty may be void if:

·        Incorrect fuelling leading to excessive EGT, exhaust gas temperature, over-speeding the turbo due to hoses blowing off, lack of lubrication and physical damage.

·        Product used in any custom or modified applications, any illegal highway, marine, industrial or commercial use.

·        Any of our Turbos used in an upgraded performance application will require a Dyno sheet with Air to Fuel ratio and Boost pressure graphs for any warranty or after sales service enquiries. Turbos installed to a vehicle with an existing tune or performance upgrades will require retuning or at the very least to be rechecked on a Dyno.

·        The vehicle has not had the oil, oil filter, air filter and coolant replaced or cleaned (if applicable) at the time of install.

 

Fuel System Component Warranty Exclusions

Common Rail fuel systems have ultra fine tolerances and a fuel leak inside the engine due to incorrect nozzle installation or failure to follow procedure could be catastrophic.

This warranty may be void if:

·        Failure to properly maintain, use or operate the unit in accordance with the instructions and recommendations specified by the OEM.

·        Fuel quality must be checked prior to fitment. Fuel tank, fuel delivery and returned lines must be removed and cleaned if contaminated fuel is evident. In the case of Common Rail systems, the common rail and high-pressure fuel lines to the rail and injectors must be replaced.

·        OEM Manufactures procedures for Injector replacement and fuel pump replacement timing hasn’t been followed.

·        So called alternative “Bio” fuels or mixtures thereof (FAME = Fatty Acid Methyl Esther) or solvents, certain improvers etc are used, other than our approved Fyrex Fuel Additive.

·        The vehicle has not had any or all fuel filters replaced at the time of install.

 

Limitation of Liability

Performance Tourers 4x4 Newcastle’s liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts and workmanship covered under this warranty. No other warranties, expressed or implied, apply unless required by Australian Consumer Law. This warranty is provided in addition to the rights and remedies available to consumers under the Australian Consumer Law.

 

Returns and Refunds

All returns or refunds must be communicated via email to sales@performancetourers.com.au prior to the return being sent back.

Performance Tourers 4x4 Newcastle does not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.

Performance Tourers 4x4 Newcastle reserves the right to refuse refund requests in the following situations:

·        Change of mind

·        Incompatibility with existing modifications

·        Products returned with signs of use and not in resaleable condition

 

All potential refunds require inspection by one of our team members.
Refunds are assessed case-by-case via email.

Important Information

·        Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.

·        Delivery times may vary depending on your location.

·        We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and/or purchasing shipping insurance.

·        Performance Tourers 4x4 Newcastle is not responsible for lost or undelivered return shipments.

·        Returned items must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit and must be returned in a saleable condition

·        Saleability will be assessed upon receipt of the goods.

Please ensure all returns are sent with care. Damaged, used, or unsaleable products may not be eligible for a refund or return.
